I’m generally booked 2–3 weeks out, so it’s best to grab a time as soon as you know you’re ready. You can always reschedule a booked session if a booking or other conflict comes up.
01
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable with at least 72 hours’ notice. If you reschedule within that window, your deposit will roll over to your new date. If you need to reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice because of a callback or booking, I will understand and offer the reschedule without penalty.
01
I accept all major creditcards, ACH direct debit, Afterpay (for installment payments), Venmo, Zelle and cash. Choose whatever is easiest for you.
01
No problem — as long as you give me 72 hours’ notice, your deposit will transfer to a new date. If you need to reschedule closer to your session, a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Yes! I run Atlanta Headshot Weekends once a month at a discounted rate. These spots always sell fast. You can learn more here.

Yes, I love to work with kids and teens as it gives me license to bring out my own child-like energy. For younger actors, I recommend keeping headshots updated every 6–12 months to reflect growth spurts, hair changes or braces. Parents are welcome at the session to see (Kids & Teens tab above).
01
For college auditions, I recommend having two looks:
01
Both types of sessions generate great results. The monthly weekend specials are timed as shoots are lined up back to back, so you won’t have the same opportunity to review as we go along. My regular sessions are not timed and give us more room to breathe and reflect and collaborate.
01
It’s optional, but I highly recommend it. I almost never share headshots from actors who skipped professional hair and makeup because the difference is night and day. Faith’s work gives your headshots that polished, booking-ready pop you can’t replicate on your own.
01
Yes — I partner with Faith Brooks, an on-set TV/film hair and makeup artist. Faith knows exactly how lighting interacts with makeup and ensures you look camera-ready while still looking natural. Unless you are going for a specific look that needs a ton of makeup, we like to keep it natural.
01
Faith will stay for an hour after your initial hair and make up application if you are doing the $225 rate. If you wish to add additional time with Faith, you can keep her on set for an extra $75 per hour.
01
It’s optional, but many male actors benefit from grooming + natural makeup to even skin tones, reduce shine and tame hair. It’s subtle, but casting directors notice when it’s done right. Makeup can also hide temporary blemishes and allow you to use your unedited shots more easily.
01
You’re welcome to use your own HMU artist if you arrive camera-ready, but your artist cannot attend the session or make changes once we start shooting. For best results, I recommend working with Faith, who knows the industry standards and how I light actors.
01
When you arrive, we’ll hang up your wardrobe (please bring clothes on hangers). Then we’ll talk about your goals and select the best outfits together. From there:
01
Think character-driven. Choose outfits that feel authentic to the types of roles you want to play. Avoid logos but don’t be afraid of color or non-distracting patterns. For a full guide, see my Wardrobe Checklist.
01
Yes. The number of looks depends on your package:
01
In general, I do not count the adding or removal of a naccessory as a separate look. That is, if you want to add a jacket as a layer to your base look, or put on glasses or a tie, etc., I do not count that as a separate look. However, there are limits. I allow up to two accessories with each base look in my 2 or 4 look standard sessions.
01
My sessions focus on headshot sand ¾ shots. If you need full-body images (for print or modeling), I offer them as an add-on. Note that if a casting director is asking for a full body image, they are wanting something shot on your phone to see what you look like right now. They will even often ask you to time stamp it. They are generally not asking for professional full length shots unless you are booking print work. Optionally, actors do like to have full length “branding images” for their website, and I do those for the add-on.
01
Yes — most actors leave with a mix of both. For example, we’ll shoot several warm, smiling commercial looks for commercials and comedy, and more dramatic theatrical looks for TV/film.
01
Almost everything is shot in my studio, but I will shoot outdoors upon request. There’s a $150 fee to shoot outside (in addition to the package you select) since I bring studio lighting outside for a polished look.
01
Yes, as an add-on. For $100, you’ll receive SlateShots for every look we capture. Note that the 3 hour unlimited will have an option to shoot up to 5 SlateShots for the $100 add-on. Alternatively, you are welcome to shoot SlateShots with your iPhone at no charge.
01
This isn’t a “stand there and move your shoulders” experience. I direct actor to actor— with prompts, scenarios and coaching to keep you alive in the frame. Commercial = fun, playful, engaging. Theatrical = grounded, layered, authentic.

01
Galleries are high-resolution, color-processed and live for a minimum of 2 years.
01
You will receive a gallery of all your images (minus the ones that aren’t usable) via a Pixieset gallery. This makes it easy for you to heart your favorites, share your images with agents and friends and have them select favorites. This makes the whole process of narrowing your favorites super easy. You can even create multiple lists as you narrow (i.e. Favorite Commercial, Favorite for Sitcom, etc.)
01
Retouched images are generally delivered within 72 hours of selecting your images.
01
No. Your proofs and final retouched images are delivered without watermarks and are ready to use right away.
01
Yes. You’ll receive the entire color-processed gallery, not just the retouched finals.
01
Yes. I regularly shoot headshots for kids and teens in Atlanta. Parents love that I capture real expressions, not stiff smiles.
01
Every 6–12 months, or sooner if they have a growth spurt, braces, haircut or any noticeable change.
01
Yes, kids need the same range as adults — commercial, theatrical, and character shots. I recommend at least 4 looks to cover their casting range.
01
Yes, parents are welcome to sit quietly in the room. You can take behind-the-scenes photos, but I ask that you avoid coaching during the shoot so I can build rapport with your child. If I need your guidance, I’ll ask.
Follow along for fresh sessions, behind-the-scenes and actor wins.
